Meridian was conceived with its environment deeply in mind. Meridians trace pathways of energy, and that sense of flow is palpable in the work, moving through its color, silhouette, and folded structure. The home where it is installed is nestled in a tiny valley, surrounded by native foliage. The interior is filled with stone and wood, sea shells and collections that reflect curiosity and reverence for the natural world.

Deeply connected to the sunlit forests of Southern California and the annual cycles of the land, the work carries the presence of oaks and native plants. It offers a quiet acknowledgment of growth, falling away, and renewal, speaking to the promise of regrowth and rebirth rooted in the rhythms of the landscape.
