Created in collaboration with London architect Siren Beckman, Sienna Rise was conceived in direct response to its setting in the French Alps. Against the dark slate wall, the painting’s color structure is inverted: pale outer edges gather around a glowing center, giving the work a dramatic luminosity.

The deliberately handcrafted architecture of the folded canvas enters into constant conversation with the rustic interior, its light wood, natural stone, and expansive windows overlooking pristine pine forests. The work is deeply connected to its surroundings while maintaining a presence entirely its own.
