Rose Geo

“Rose Geo” straddles the line between figuration and abstraction.

Standing at almost human scale, a captivating blend of pinks, reds, and silvers dances over the surface of the folded canvas. This artwork is an ode to transformation, a harmonious fusion of artistry and introspection.

After traveling to Oaxaca, Mexico, the artist returned to their studio with a changed perspective. The desire for an organic flow and forms that resonated from within was ignited.

Thus began an exploration of origami's influence—a journey that birthed this unique body of work.

In this artwork, the colors are an optical dance that lures the viewer in, while an almost metallic sheen is created from dramatic gradients in the paint. The piece seems to play with light, inviting us to explore its contours and angles, to witness the interplay between hue and shadow.
